The SRHC operates special heritage rail passenger services throughout Victoria utilising its extensive fleet of preserved diesel locomotives and makes locomotives available for hire and long term lease to private operators. Locomotives owned and managed  total 13 in number and vary from 900hp to 3000hp making them suitable to meet the market of all potential  operators.

As well the SRHC employs a workforce that has  developed an enviable reputation in the  industry for maintenance and servicing of all rollingstock and has a particular passion in restoring older locomotives to meet modern standards and operating them in full time service.

Our Depot is located in the heart of Seymour. Victoria,  about 100kms North of Melbourne, adjacent to the main Melbourne to Sydney rail line. Our location, being served by both broad and standard gauge tracks provides excellent access to all rail lines making it an ideal position to meet the needs of the rail operator and to efficiently provide maintenance and repair work.
